FAQ

Questions we get every day

If your question is not here, call or WhatsApp us and you will get a straight answer.

How much does it cost?School fees range from 7,500 for a motorcycle class to 17,500 for a medium truck. See the classes page for the full, half and theory prices, and remember the NTSA charges are separate.
What does full, half and theory only mean?Full is the whole course, theory and practical, up to test preparation. Half is practical only for people who already know the theory. Theory only is for candidates who just need guidance on the class and the test.
Do I pay NTSA separately?Yes. The four NTSA items come to 4,450 shillings in total: provisional licence 650, test booking 1,050, interim licence 750 and the exam 2,000. We collect them and do the booking.
What documents do I need?Your national ID or passport, two passport photos, and the NTSA medical certificate. If you are upgrading a class, bring the licence you already hold.
How long does it take?It depends on the class and how often you attend. Your instructor gives you a realistic timeline after the first assessment rather than a number that ignores your availability.
Can I start if I have never driven before?Yes. Most of our students start from zero. That is what the theory and the first practical lessons are for.
Do you help if I fail the test?Yes. We review what went wrong and arrange the retake, which is charged at the NTSA test booking rate.
Can I upgrade from B to C or D?Yes, subject to the NTSA experience rules on the requirements column of the classes page.
Where exactly are you?Kemera, Optimum Hotel, first floor, opposite Safaricom customer care. Call us if you cannot find the entrance.
Do you offer refresher lessons?Yes, 500 shillings per lesson with a minimum of five, for licensed drivers who want confidence back.
